ORAL HEALTH NEEDS ASSESSMENT

Introduction

Health Canada developed this tool kit in response to the interest received with the Oral Health Component of Statistics Canada’s Canadian Health Measures Survey. The goal of this tool kit is to promote the collection of comparable data in Canada and internationally.

The Oral Health Needs Assessment tool kit contains the self report questions, the clinical indices, the protocol manual, the training presentations and tools to assist with the analysis of the results that were used in the Canadian Health Measures Survey. The tool kit presents these components of the survey by the index or question of interest. The website lists as options all the elements of the self report questions and clinical indices.

Simply choose the elements you wish to investigate in your survey and the corresponding sections of the protocol manual, training presentations and analysis tools will be generated.
