Projects of the FPTDWG

 

1. Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS)

Oral health questions were developed for the 2003 Canadian Community Health Survey through StatCan which help in gathering baseline oral health data. These questions were subsequently used in the 2005 and 2007 CCHS surveys.

 

2. FPTDD Submission to the Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada

The FPTDD compiled and submitted a brief to the Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada.

 

3. A Canadian Oral Health Strategy

The Canadian Oral Health Strategy, completed in 2005, involves a list of Oral Health goals for the year 2010, methods of monitoring progress towards the goals, and suggested strategies that could be picked up by provinces, territories or dental organizations to assist in achieving the goals.
