The Federal, Provincial and Territorial Dental Directors compiled and
submitted a brief to the Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada (Romanow
Commission), in December of 2001. The purpose of the brief was to point
out the main problems facing Canadians regarding oral health and oral health care, and
to offer recommendations on what could be done to improve the oral health of
Canadians.
